SALT-OFF, 1 L

SALT OFF has been formulated to rapidly break down and dissolve salt deposits on fibreglass hulls, decks, stainless fittings, rails and all external marine surfaces. It prevents long-term salt crystallization, corrosion and surface dulling, making it an essential part of routine maintenance for any vessel. This versatile, MARPOL-compliant formula can also be used through a hose-end proportioner / engine flush mixer, allowing safe removal of internal salt build-up in outboard cooling systems, inboard raw-water circuits, trailer brakes and other salt-exposed components.

Products produced after 2025 have been reformulated to ensure they are non-harmful to the marine environment and fully MARPOL Annex V compliant.

SALT OFF can be diluted up to 100:1 for regular washdowns and is supplied in a fully recyclable jerry container with a removable label section designed for reuse on recycled spray bottles to reduce plastic waste.

INSTRUCTIONS

For Hulls, Decks & External Surfaces:

• Dilute up to 100:1 (water:product) in a bucket or spray applicator for routine salt removal.
• For heavy salt build-up, use at 10:1 or neat.
• Apply using a sponge, soft brush or spray nozzle, working on small areas to prevent drying.
• Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

For Outboard & Engine Flushing:

• Add SALT OFF to a hose-end proportioner / engine flush mixer according to the device’s dilution settings
• Connect to the outboard flush port (engine off unless manufacturer specifies otherwise).
• Allow the product to circulate through the cooling system, dissolving internal salt deposits.
• Rinse through with clean water after treatment.

• Test on a small, inconspicuous area before full application to ensure suitability
• Do not allow product to dry on surfaces before rinsing.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.
• Dispose of container in accordance with MARPOL Annex V and local legislative requirements.
