R & D damper drive plate has machined back plate & polyurethane element which is unaffected by oils and offers good heat resistance.
They will stop powertrain rattle at low RPM’s. The polyurethane damper plate has no springs to rust or break.
Drive plate will transmit power even if polyurethane element fails, allowing for a safe return to port. Use the equation below to determine the torque rating needed.
