The Egis Mobile Electric 7022 is a hermetically sealed contactor (relay/switch) designed for robust remote switching of high-ampere electrical loads in demanding environments such as marine and engine compartments.

• Sealed Enclosure: It is hermetically sealed against dust and moisture intrusion with an ingress protection rating of IP67/IP69K.
• Current Rating: The contactor has a continuous current rating of 250A. It also features high interrupt current capability, safely able to open in a locked starter situation (up to 1,500 A @ 14 Vdc).
• Voltage: It supports an operational voltage range of 9-36VDC, easily handling 12V and 24V applications.
• Ignition Protected: It is ignition protected, making it safe for installation in closed compartments where potential explosive gases might be present.
• High Endurance: It delivers a high electrical switching endurance of 100,000 cycles at 100A or 6,000 cycles at 250A/450V.
• Auxiliary Contacts: It includes auxiliary contacts (normally open) that support remote status indication, allowing positive confirmation of the relay’s on/off state.
• Construction: The device features “bullet-proof construction” using high-temperature materials and 18-8 stainless steel self-locking hardware for corrosion resistance.
• Remote Switching: It allows for the remote switching of high-ampere loads, which helps reduce installation costs and weight by eliminating long cable runs to a manual switch.
